Local Art – Surrounded by Inspiration
We are located at the buzzing epicenter of Burlington Vermont’s art scene—the South End Arts District. Picture brick warehouses, vines, murals, and railroad tracks. As with Soho and Greenwich Village, artists first began moving to industrial Pine Street for affordable rent. Now it is home to over 100 artists and incubator businesses. The best time to visit is in early fall during Art Hop, a three day festival hosted by SEABA, the South End Arts + Business Association, showcasing over 500 artists in 100 locations. Studios and businesses throw open their doors, transforming into galleries and live performance spaces.
Or visit our complex, the historic Soda Plant, anytime. What was once the Venetian Ginger Ale factory is now a fizzing, sparkling concoction of 50 artists and artisans, including three galleries, The S.P.A.C.E Gallery, The Backspace, Brickels Gallery, and of course, Conant Metal & Light.
