Conant Metal & Light Lighting Fixtures:
We guarantee all of our light fixtures for as long as you own them. We will be happy to repair or replace, free of charge, any fixture found to be defective in materials or workmanship. Please be aware of the following limits to our liabilities:

Because metal finishes change over time, our guarantee does not cover the effects of this natural process.

Decorative bulbs often burn extremely hot and can damage even the toughest light fixture. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by decorative bulbs burned in a base-up position or damage caused by the use of bulbs of a higher wattage than specified.

Lighting Returns:
We expect you to be completely satisfied with all of our products. In the event that you are not, simply:

  1.  Return the fixture in its original condition.
  2.  Include a copy of the invoice.
  3.  Insure the package. We will refund your money, excluding the cost of shipping.

If you are unhappy with your fixture, please do not install it. Once a fixture has been installed, 20% will be deducted from the refund.

Custom projects built to proper specifications are not returnable. A refund or credit will not be given on fixtures that have not been operated in compliance with the guarantee. We will pay for shipment of returned goods if we have made a mistake in packing your order, shipped to the wrong address or the product is defective. If your shipment is damaged in transit, we will initiate a damage claim and pay the costs to process the claim. Over the years, we have performed significant custom lighting and restoration work for prestigious colleges and universities.

We take tremendous pride in creating fixtures that now grace the libraries, student centers and hallowed halls of Yale, Harvard, Wesleyan, the University of Vermont, Champlain College and other fine institutions. One of our recent commissions -- ceiling lighting for the Student Life Center at Champlain College -- is pictured above.
