Illuminated Signs!

Twenty years ago we started experimenting with a method of illuminating glass signs that's been around just about as long as the incandescent light bulb itself.
It's long been understood that light moves through glass like electricity through a wire. In fact, today we rely heavily on this process for our communications through fiber optics, light travels very efficiently through glass and conveniently illuminates anything in its path.

When an image is etched into the smooth surface of plate glass that's illuminated from the side, it glows magically. Letters and graphics give the impression they're generating their own light and as a result boldly stand out in a sea of graphic-message overload and typically amaze the viewer in the process. Today our "wicked lighting capabilities" are endless. From large to small, traditional to contemporary, we can create a distinctive look that will turn heads and build your brand.

Through our association with Grayling Design of Brooklyn, NY, we have helped bring classic elegance to three culinary landmarks in New York City: Balthazar Restaurant, Schiller’s Liquor Bar, and Pastis Cafe. Enhancing the 1920s architecture and décor of each establishment are light fixtures designed to reflect the regional style of the Roaring Twenties. The décor of these fine restaurants is reason enough to visit, but the food is spectacular, too.
